Hi, I'm Negar

I grew up in Tehran, where my journey in art and design began. I started my formal education at the Art University in Tehran before moving to Berlin in 2014 to continue my studies at the University of the Arts Berlin (UdK). After completing my Bachelor's degree in Visual Communication in 2018, I pursued a Master's degree in Communication Design at FH Potsdam, graduating in 2021.

With over 5 years of experience in motion design, I specialize in creating engaging visuals in 2D motion, from initial style frames to the final animation. My work spans various formats, including visual explainers, animated short films, and motion graphics. In addition to motion graphics, I also have hands-on experience with traditional animation techniques and stop motion, allowing me to bring diverse, tactile storytelling approaches to the table.

I’m particularly drawn to projects that explore social and political themes, both in my personal and academic work. I believe that design has the power to communicate complex ideas and spark meaningful conversations.
